What Are the Lies We’ve Been Taught about Sex?

Despite having the scriptures, did you know that as Christians, there are some lies we’ve been taught about sex?

As a result of working through some books in prep for an upcoming course, Creating Sexually Healthy Romance, I decided to share a review of some of them with our Patreon members. At first, I will look at Sheila Wray Gregoire’s book, The Great Sex Rescue.

In this video, I discuss the first three chapters that address some of the lies we’ve been taught about sex.

Accordingly, these chapters address questions like,

  • What is sex?
  • Is it true that men have a desire for sex that women don’t have?
  • Why is there an orgasm gap between men and women?
  • Whose responsibility is it to make sex feel good for women?
  • What about when sex hurts?
  • And more!

Afterwards, I’d love to hear your feedback! For instance, have you read the book? What thoughts and takeaways do you have? Feel free to share in the comments below.
